Tasnim Dirie , Head of non-communicable diseases center

Tasnim is a MSc Medical Microbiology holder graduated from Westminster University in London, and her BSc in Biomedical Science from London Metropolitan University in London. She worked as a Healthcare Scientist in a medical diagnostic laboratory. Her skills include project management, proposal writing, writing scientific journals, communication, and research and data analysis.  She is also a lecturer at Somali National University (SNU). In her capacity as a freelance consultant, she has provided capacity building training to governance, Health and educational institutions at international, local/national level. Tasnim has extensive experience in working post-conflict interventions. She brings to the team cross-cultural experience, analytical skills, a keen eye for details, and a deep understanding of complex conflict-affected environments.
