Department of Public Health

 The Bachelor of   Public Health degree  is a four Year program with  four main concentrations: food and nutrition, environmental health, health education and promotion, and epidemiology. The curriculum emphasizes health inequalities, environmental health, epidemiology,  personal health, nutrition, statistics, and other related areas in addition to courses specifically designed for these concentrations. Additionally,  program graduates will be qualified to take the professional certification tests for Certified Public Health (CPH) or Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES).
