The Ministry Health and Human Services of the Federal Government of Somalia in collaboration with the Somali National University-SPHR has conducted an introduction workshop on the EPHS-2020. The expansion of the EPHS-2020 is a core priority for the Minister of Health, H.E. Dr.Fawziya Abikar Nur who has paid a great effort in the revision of this valuable document. With her great leadership and vision for the Somali health sector, the minister is working to make sure that all health-related activities are aligned with the EPHS-2020 framework. And increasing the knowledge and awareness regarding this useful policy documents have the potential to facilitate the implementation of national health policies at all levels of the health system. With this in mind, the Department of Policy and Planning has today conducted this useful workshop. The workshop was attended by health professionals from different institutions ( specially Benadir Hospital) and university researchers based in Mogadishu.
