Dr. Liban HAssan Jimcale

Dr. Liban received his medical degree (MBchB) from Benadir University Mogadishu Somalia. He later obtained a postgraduate diploma of tropical medicine (DTM & H) and a master’s degree of clinical tropical medicine (MCTM) from Mahidol University, Bangkok Thailand. His research focuses on the neglected tropical diseases, clinical epidemiology of infectious disease and reproductive health researches. In 2018, he delivered primary data project of qualitative Research focusing on conflict settings and RMNCAH & N interventions entitled (Case Study Analysis of the Implementation and Delivery of Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child, and Adolescent Health and Nutrition (RMNCAH & N) interventions in Somalia. He has published several articles, and currently, he teaches Infectious Disease Prevention and Control to the Post-Graduate Students at the School of Public Health and Research, at Somali National University (SNU).
